Affiliate & advertising disclosure
The short version: some links on Wayoflife are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it never decides where a tool ranks.
Affiliate links
- Some "Visit" buttons and other outbound links to tools are affiliate links. The tool maker may pay us a commission if you sign up or buy through them.
- You pay the same price either way. Sometimes affiliate links come with a discount or extended trial for you.
- Affiliate links are marked in our page code with
rel="sponsored", as search engines ask. - Whether a tool has an affiliate program has no effect on whether we list it, where it ranks, or what our verdict says. Many of our top picks pay us nothing.
Rankings are independent
Rankings and verdicts are our editorial judgment. Our research agents test and re-check tools against each use case, and we look at output quality, how easy it is to get started, pricing, and how actively the product is maintained. Nobody can pay to move up, change a verdict, or remove a con. See how we rank.
Featured listings are paid and labeled
Tool makers can pay for a featured listing. Featured tools are always marked "Featured · Sponsored", and featured placements appear in a separate, labeled box, never inside the ranked list. Being featured does not change a tool's rank, verdict, or review. Other sponsorships, like a sponsored slot or a newsletter sponsor, are labeled "Sponsored" too.
Newsletter
The same rules apply to our newsletter: affiliate links may appear, and any paid mention is labeled as sponsored.
